Added a new forum in the "non registered users" section of the forum.

People should now have a better idea about what they can find on the forum before registering.

Forum Update:

We are currently setting up a new role : ABE moderator.
ABE Moderators will be responsible for the following.

- Setting up rules and guidelines for the Alchemical Book Exchange project. (Copyright laws, Member applications, ...).
- Moderating membership. (Grant or deny people access to the project).
- Assembling a group of people with a certain set of skills. (OCR/Scanning, ...).
- Moderating the forum thread/sections (You will be able to set up your own categories/subforums as you see fit).

Marcasite has expressed his interest in this task and is granted this opportunity.

So.. Thanks for the help and good luck :)

Hey,

The domain name renewal is due in august. Considering the low activity and the low contributions of experiments I'm not sure for how long I will keep hosting this forum.

However, the amount of good information and the work we have shared over the past 2 years is too important to disappear. I don't want that to happen.

I will be giving this some more thought. Any suggestions are welcome..

Maybe we should make all of the threads public so more people will find their way here?
Maybe someone else feels like hosting this board?

Dont shut us down just yet give us a chance alchemy takes ages and with most of us plodding along without any other teacher but old books written in gibberish im not surprised things are going a bit slow but everyone here is working we are all doing something and this is the only real place we can talk about that and gain more insight in what we are doing maybe you should make the forum completely open or advertise on all the alchemy Facebook pages that are moving twenty times slower than here but please do think twice or thrice or fiftyrice times before closin us down. if its costing too much cant we just help pay to keep the forum going?
Alchemists were great at alchemy, writing books not so much...
